Using the results of these reports as a basis (which will require a joint effort by the Member States and the Union on the statistics front), as well as the European report on scientific and technological indicators and the work of Eurostat and the OECD, the Commission could draw up a periodic progress report on research in Europe.
Sur la base des résultats de ces rapports (dont la réalisation suppose un effort combiné des Etats membres et de l'Union en matière statistique), en s'appuyant sur le Rapport européen sur les indicateurs scientifiques et technologiques, ainsi que les travaux d'Eurostat et de l'OCDE, la Commission pourrait réaliser un Rapport périodique sur l'état de la recherche en Europe.
