I am pleased that the President of the Public Service Commission tabled a report yesterday that deals specifically with the use of placement agencies to hire temporary employees in the Canadian public service and thus circumvent the laws and regulations adopted by our two chambers.

Terms and conditions of employment are regulated by collective agreements for both permanent and temporary employees.
