13. Calls for continued greater coordination under the SHADE-mechanism among the EU, NATO and the conducting the three main counter-piracy naval missions in the region (EU NAVFOR, CTF-150/151 and TF-508 within NATO’s operation Ocean Shield) and the various international naval forces in order to avoid unnecessary duplication, since both organisations, the EU and NATO, on the basis of their respective decision-making autonomy operate in the same area, have the same interests and largely comprise the same European nations;
13. demande que soit poursuivie, au titre du mécanisme SHADE, la recherche d'une coordination plus poussée entre l'Union européenne, l'OTAN, les trois principales opérations de lutte contre la piraterie dans la région (EU NAVFOR, CTF‑150/151 et TF‑508 dans l'opération Ocean Shield de l'OTAN) et les diverses forces navales internationales afin d'éviter toute duplication, car les deux organisations, à savoir l'Union et l'OTAN, opèrent – en vertu de leur autonomie de décision – dans la même zone, ont les mêmes intérêts et s'appuient largement sur les mêmes pays européens;
