a) Fully respecting the Treaty provisions, the Council will establish a standing interim political and security committee at senior/ambassadorial level tasked to take forward under the guidance of the Political Committee the follow up of the Helsinki European Council by preparing recommendations on the future functioning of the CESDP and to deal with CFSP affairs on a day-to-day basis in close contacts with the SG/HR.
a) Dans le strict respect des dispositions du traité, le Conseil créera un Comité politique et de sécurité permanent intérimaire au niveau des hauts fonctionnaires/ambassadeurs. Cet organe sera chargé, d'une part, d'assurer, sous la supervision du Comité politique, le suivi du Conseil européen d'Helsinki, en élaborant des recommandations sur le fonctionnement futur de la PECSD et, d'autre part, de traiter de la gestion courante des questions PESC, en relation étroite avec le SG/HR.
