Mr. Speaker, in Trinity—Spadina and all across this country, many of the most creative artists, be they actors, actresses, singers, songwriters and writers of amazing literature, award winners, and I have a large number of artists living in my riding, tell me that they have to work second or third jobs in the service sectors because they just cannot make ends meet.
Monsieur le Président, dans la circonscription de Trinity—Spadina, bon nombre des artistes les plus créatifs, qu'ils soient acteurs, chanteurs, auteurs-compositeurs, auteurs de grandes oeuvres littéraires ou lauréats de prix — et il y en a beaucoup dans ma circonscription — me disent qu'ils doivent occuper un ou deux emplois dans le secteur des services parce qu'ils n'arrivent tout simplement pas à joindre les deux bouts.
