In conclusion, the Commission is of the opinion that, both in normal operation and in the event of an accident of the type and magnitude considered in the General Data, the implementation of the plan for the disposal of radioactive waste in whatever form arising from the AGATE liquid effluent treatment plant, located on the site of Cadarache in France, is not liable to result in radioactive contamination of the water, soil or airspace of another Member State.
En conclusion, la Commission estime que, tant dans les conditions normales de fonctionnement ainsi qu'en cas d'accident du type et de l'ampleur envisagés dans les données générales, la mise en œuvre du projet de rejet d'effluents radioactifs provenant de l'installation de traitement des effluents liquides AGATE, implantée sur le site de Cadarache en France, n'est pas susceptible d'entraîner une contamination radioactive des eaux, du sol, ou de l'espace aérien d'un autre État membre.
