The programme provides for : - the production of artificial lims, crutches, wheelchairs and orthopaedic footwear made from local materials (bamboo, wood, metal, leather, used tyres); - the training of local technicians, priority being given to the handicapped themselves; - a teaching programme adapted to the local technicians' powers of assimilation with simple manuals drawn up in their own languages.
Le programme prevoit : - la fabrication des protheses, ortheses, bequilles, chaises roulantes, chaussures orthopediques en utilisant des materiaux locaux (bambou, bois, metal, cuir, pneus uses); - la formation permanente de techniciens autochtones, en priorite les handicapes eux-memes; - un programme d'enseignement adapte aux possibilites d'assimilation des techniciens locaux avec redaction de manuels simples dans leur langue respective.
