Mr. Speaker, I cannot believe that the member for Avalon would get up in the House and defend a broken promise, that he would defend a shaft that was given to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan, and that he would defend a knife in the back of the premier and a knife in the back of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Monsieur le Président, je ne peux pas croire que le député d'Avalon intervienne à la Chambre pour défendre une promesse brisée, pour défendre la coquille vide qu'on a donnée aux gens de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, de la Nouvelle-Écosse et de la Saskatchewan, pour défendre un coup de poignard dans le dos du premier ministre et des gens de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.
