Calls for the creation of a true European Creative Single Market which enables CCIs to expand and reach out to a larger potential customer base, helps them to develop new long- term strategies for creation, distribution and exploitation, and fosters mobility, exchanges and cooperation between persons active in the cultural and creative industries, particularly through the creation of CCI platforms;

Increasing domestic investments provide a major opportunity for increased productivity, added value and output from a wide range of EU manufacturing industries (e.g. automotive, power generation, industrial and grid equipment, energy–efficient building materials and the construction sector), which are key industries for the creation of future growth and jobs.

How can objectives such as investment promotion (creation of joint-ventures, transfer of know-how and technologies, investments and capacity management for the fishing industry .), creation of jobs (on vessels, in ports, in the processing industry) or promoting good maritime governance be pursued in the framework of future international fisheries agreements?

(2) Defence equipment supply: completion of the industrial consolidation process (primarily the responsibility of industries themselves); supportive policies and actions by the Commission and Member States towards the creation and maintenance of a competitive industrial structure in Europe.
