Evidence of substance use at the Pickering plant became public in 1996 when a citizen’s group, using the Ontario Freedom of Information Act, obtained reports of five incidents in which empty beer cans, a liquor bottle, drug paraphernalia and marijuana were found inside the plant and reported to the AECB.
Des preuves d’une telle consommation à la centrale de Pickering ont été dévoilées au public en 1996 après qu’un groupe de citoyens, recourant à la Loi sur l’accès à l’information et la protection de la vie privée de l’Ontario, eut obtenu des rapports sur cinq incidents signalés à la CCEA montrant que des canettes de bière vides, une bouteille de spiritueux, un attirail pour la consommation de drogues et de la marijuana avaient été trouvés à l’intérieur de la centrale.
