– (ES) Mr President, I would like to point out that, behind all these elements, there is a strategy: to extend action to a broader market than merely the European market, in the field of energy, a field in which we believe we can make progress, particularly given that we have association agreements with most of these countries, such as the twelve countries of the Mediterranean rim and of course guaranteeing the balances and ground rules of fair competition between everybody.
- (ES) Monsieur le Président, je tiens à souligner qu’il y a une stratégie derrière tous ces éléments: étendre l’action à un marché plus large que le marché simplement européen, dans le domaine de l’énergie, un domaine dans lequel nous pensons pouvoir avancer, notamment parce que nous disposons d’accords d’association avec une grande partie de ces pays, comme les douze pays du bassin méditerranéen et, évidemment, en garantissant les équilibres et les règles fondamentales de la concurrence loyale entre tous.
