These changes aim to integrate Turkey partly into the system of pan-European cumulation of rules of origin, to extend application of the principle of territoriality provided for in the EEA agreement to the other partner States, to prolong the possibility of applying flat-rate customs duties, and to make certain technical amendments or clarify the wording.
Ces changements visent à intégrer partiellement la Turquie au système paneuropéen de cumul des règles d'origine, à étendre l'application du principe de territorialité prévu dans l'accord EEE à d'autres Etats partenaires, à proroger la possibilité d'appliquer des taux forfaitaires de droits de douane ainsi qu'à introduire certaines modifications d'ordre technique ou de clarification rédactionnelle.
