It requires the Member States to conduct ramp inspections on third-country aircraft suspected of non-compliance with international safety standards landing at any of its airports open to international air traffic following a harmonised procedure, and to participate to the collection and exchange of information on the ramp inspections carried out.
Elle dispose que les États membres doivent procéder, selon une procédure harmonisée, à des inspections au sol des aéronefs de pays tiers soupçonnés de non-conformité avec les normes internationales de sécurité qui atterrissent dans n’importe quel aéroport communautaire ouvert au trafic international, et doivent participer à la collecte et à l’échange d'informations sur les inspections au sol qui ont été effectuées.
