In order to prevent unintentional uncoupling from the hitch ring, the distance between the towing hook or ball head or pin (piton) tip and the keeper (clamping device) shall not exceed 10 mm at the maximum design load.
Afin de prévenir tout découplage accidentel de l’anneau d’attelage, la distance entre la pointe du crochet d’attelage, de la tête à boule ou du piton et le dispositif de verrouillage ne doit pas dépasser 10 mm à la charge maximale admissible.
