He either should have been held in Afghanistan and I believe that given his background it would have been difficult to do repatriated somehow within the context of Afghanistan, or brought to Guantánamo as other children were, kept in Camp Iguana, afforded access to educational and other rehabilitative services, and then the U.S. government should have made efforts to repatriate him to Canada.
