I believe that Parliament must speak out, loud and clear, if possible avoiding a compromise, with nationalisers and liberalisers fighting it out, and state clearly that the articles of the Treaty relating to the movement of capital and freedom of establishment must be fully enforced in the light of today's economic market conditions, not those of 40 years ago.
Je crois que ce Parlement doit élever la voix, peut-être en évitant d'arriver à un compromis, en se frottant avec les partisans de l'étatisme et les partisans de la libéralisation. Il doit élever la voix pour dire que les articles du Traité qui concernent la circulation des capitaux et la liberté d'établissement doivent trouver leur pleine application à la lumière des conditions économiques d'aujourd'hui et non d'il y a quarante ans.
