At the national level, the Programme of Action calls on each state to implement provisions related to improving national standards and in particular “to ensure that comprehensive and accurate records are kept for as long as possible on the manufacture, holding and transfer of small arms and light weapons under their jurisdiction”.
Au niveau national, le Programme d'action invite chaque États à appliquer les dispositions portant sur l'amélioration des normes nationales, en particulier: « Veiller à ce que des registres complets et exacts soient gardés le plus longtemps possible concernant la fabrication, la possession et le transfert d'armes légères dans les zones sous la juridiction nationale ».
