Down by the shore of what had been the old port of Banda Aceh, almost nothing was left but a severely damaged mosque and in the distance an obelisk, celebrating some event in the country's history, and one lone mammoth old tree.
Sur le site du vieux port de Banda Aceh, il ne restait rien d'autre qu'une mosquée à moitié démolie, puis un peu plus loin un obélisque commémorant un événement historique et un vieil arbre éléphant.
