In 2010, collaborating Dalhousie and DFO scientists began a seven-year program under the support of Ocean Tracking Network Canada to directly examine grey seal/cod interactions.

I have been working on grey seals and harbour seals on Sable Island since 1989 and have worked on a number of other seal populations on the West Coast and in Alaska and I am currently also the scientific director of the Ocean Tracking Network, Canada.
