6. During the period for which he is entitled to receive that allowance, the official shall be entitled, in respect of himself and of persons covered by his insurance, to benefits under the sickness insurance scheme common to the institutions of the European Communities, provided that he pays the contribution calculated on the basis of the basic salary attaching to his grade and step and is not covered against sickness by another scheme.
6. Pendant la période au cours de laquelle le droit à l'indemnité est ouvert, le fonctionnaire a droit, pour lui-même et les personnes assurées de son chef, aux prestations garanties par le régime d'assurance-maladie commun aux institutions des Communautés européennes, sous réserve de verser sa cotisation calculée sur le traitement de base afférent à son grade et à son échelon et de ne pouvoir être couvert par un autre régime contre les risques de maladie.
