The point is that there are different answers and different interpretations, and that is why what matters right now in the dying moments of this debate is to get a commitment from the government that this is not just going to get buried in a committee, stuffed away in some kind of secret or in camera meeting for three or four days, to then pop out again and come back to the House, where closure is moved again and the bill rammed through.

Le fait est qu'il y a différentes réponses et différentes interprétations, et c'est la raison pour laquelle ce qui importe maintenant, vers la fin du débat, c'est d'obtenir du gouvernement l'engagement que ce projet de loi ne sera pas simplement enterré dans un comité, englouti dans une sorte de réunion secrète ou à huis clos de trois ou quatre jours, pour ensuite émerger et revenir à la Chambre, où une motion de clôture sera présentée de nouveau, précipitant l'adoption du projet de loi.
