The revalidation of an en route instrument rating (EIR) or an IR(A), if held, may be combined with a proficiency check for the revalidation of a class or type rating’.

Section 66(3) makes it clear that in checking whether a fare or rate is reasonable, there are certain things the agency must take into account, such as historical information, particularly in terms of fares on comparable routes where there is competition; other information provided by the carrier; and other information that the agency considers relevant.

5.1. A description of the required licence, rating(s), qualification/competency (e.g. for routes and aerodromes), experience, training, checking and recency for operations personnel to conduct their duties.
