− (IT) Monsieur le Président, Mesdames et Messieurs, je pense que, grâce au travail du Parlement, à la communication rédigée par la commissaire Reding que je remplace, ainsi qu’à l'excellent travail de Mme Gurmai, nous avons envoyé aujourd’hui un signal clé à nos concitoyens qui nous écoutent, assis dans la tribune, et qui, en théorie, représentent les cinq cents millions de citoyens européens. Par ce signal, nous montrons que les institutions européennes les écoutent et tentent de répondre à leurs besoins, ce qui représente la première des priorités du Parlement, du Conseil et de la Commission.
