Significant projects in this sector include support for (i) Public Power Corporation's network modernisation, involving several schemes to reinforce and extend electricity transmission and distribution networks throughout the country; (ii) the Greek Natural Gas company's priority Trans-European Network schemes, notably investments in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal at Revithoussa, which increased capacity and enhanced overall security of supply; and (iii) the construction of the high pressure gas pipeline connecting Komotini with Alexandroupolis and the Turkish natural gas network at the Greek-Turkish border.
Parmi les principaux projets soutenus par la Banque dans ce secteur figurent : i) la modernisation du réseau de Public Power Corporation par le biais de plusieurs aménagements visant à renforcer et étendre les infrastructures de transport et de distribution d’électricité dans tout le pays ; ii) les investissements prioritaires de la compagnie grecque de gaz naturel dans les réseaux transeuropéens, notamment l’agrandissement du terminal de gaz naturel liquéfié de l’île de Revithoussa qui a augmenté la capacité et a amélioré la sûreté globale de l’approvisionnement, iii) la construction du gazoduc à haute pression reliant Komotini à Alexandroupolis et au réseau turc de transport de gaz naturel, à la frontière gréco-turque.
