The Commission had invited an ad-hoc expert group to provide recommendations on the authorisation for use in organic farming of spinosad, potassium bicarbonate and copper octanoate and on the extension of the use of ethylene to the degreening of citrus and to sprouting inhibition in potatoes and onions, in the light of the principles governing organic farming.
La Commission a demandé à un groupe d'experts ad hoc de fournir des recommandations concernant, d'une part, l'autorisation d'utiliser le spinosad, le bicarbonate de potassium et l'octanoate de cuivre dans l'agriculture biologique et, d'autre part, l'extension de l'emploi de l'éthylène pour le déverdissage des agrumes et l'inhibition de la germination des pommes de terre et des oignons, à la lumière des principes régissant l'agriculture biologique.
