Take a 300 ml flask with a ground glass stopper and with a widened neck enabling the neck to be rinsed without loss. In the flask, place 20 ml of the titrant potassium dichromate solution (paragraph 3.1) and 20 ml of the 1:2 (v/v) dilute sulphuric acid (paragraph 3.4) and shake.
