Vu l'exemple judicieusement cité par M. Schmidt, celui de l'arrêt récent dans la cause Delgamuukw où la Cour suprême a réprimandé la Cour suprême provinciale pour avoir refusé de donner créance aux argumentaires oraux, je soupçonne que la raison en était que lors des audiences de la Cour suprême provinciale les personnes pouvant expliquer l'histoire des peuples autochtones de Colombie-Britannique étaient tout simplement incapables de rédiger.
