The Committee on Culture’s amendments have several objectives: to further develop the obligation to transmit to electronic communication networks, to impose information and transparency obligations on the companies providing these services, to increase the protection of disabled people, particularly the visually and hearing impaired, as users of these communications and, finally, to separate, from a legislative point of view, infrastructures and content in the audiovisual sector.
Les amendements de la commission de la culture poursuivent plusieurs objectifs : appliquer davantage les obligations de transmission aux réseaux de communications électroniques, imposer aux fournisseurs de ces services des obligations d’information et de transparence, augmenter la protection des personnes souffrant d’un handicap, surtout auditif ou visuel, en tant qu’utilisatrices de ces communications et, finalement, séparer l’infrastructure du contenu audiovisuel du point de vue législatif.
