23. rend hommage au combat quotidien des femmes les plus pauvres contre la misère et salue l'engagement bénévole des citoyens qui les accompagnent et qui les soutiennent, dans le mesure où cela constitue un apport significatif à la mise en œuvre de l'agenda social renouvelé; salue l'engagement des organisations non gouvernementales (ONG) internationales, telles que Caritas Internationalis ou ATD Quart-Monde, qui s'engagent dans la durée avec les populations les plus défavorisées, ainsi que des réseaux européens d'ONG du secteur social;

Commends the very poorest women in their daily struggle against extreme poverty, and acknowledges that the work performed by volunteers who assist and support them is an important contribution to the implementation of the renewed social agenda; pays tribute to the work of international non-governmental organisations (NGOs), such as Caritas Internationalis or ATD Fourth World, which display a long-term commitment to the most disadvantaged groups, and to European NGO networks in the welfare sector;
