6) Graph-Matching approaches for Invariant Perception This project will study dynamical connectionist models for pattern recognition ; it represents a new theoretical approach to the function of the brain, which has as its fundamental tenet the representation of knowledge in the brain in the form of dynamical connectivity graphs, a particularly useful format for solving problems of invariant pattern recognition.
