There are a number of international acts relating to the recognition of judicial rulings, such as the 1970 Hague Convention on the international value of prison sentences, the Convention on the execution of foreign prison sentences which the Member States adopted in Brussels on 13 November 1991, and the 1998 EU Convention on decisions depriving individuals of the right to drive, which was adopted under the Maastricht Treaty.
