Je ne sais pas si, aux États-Unis, les gens sont conscients de cela, mais il me semble qu'il y a eu, par exemple dans le fait que le président Bush a accepté de débloquer des fonds pour payer le dû des États-Unis à l'Organisation des Nations Unies, une compréhension de cela, de l'utilisation qu'ont toujours faite les Américains des organisations internationales comme le Fonds monétaire international ou la Banque mondiale.
I do not know whether, in the U.S., the people realize that, but it seems to me that there was, for instance in the fact that President Bush agreed to free up the funds to pay what the U.S. owed the United Nations, an understanding of that, of the use that the Americans have always made of international organizations like the International Monetary Fund or the World Bank.
