Je voudrais vous parler de la question au centre de votre examen, c'est-à-dire l'industrie du long métrage et le Fonds du long métrage comme tel. Le Fonds du long métrage a été créé il y a quelques années dans un but précis, après de nombreuses années de discussion, d'étude, d'instances et de rencontres comme celle-ci entre le gouvernement et le secteur de la production et de la distribution de films.

What I do want to talk to you about is the central issue that you are reviewing, which is the feature film industry and the Feature Film Fund itself. The Feature Film Fund was created some years ago for a specific purpose, after many years of discussion and study and lobbying and encounters such as this one between government and the film production and distribution sector.
