Sur avis conforme du ministre de l’Agriculture et en vertu de l’article 4 de la Loi sur la quarantaine des plantes, il plaît à Son Excellence le Gouverneur générale en conseil d’établir le Règlement visant à restreindre la production de pommes de terre sur les biens qui sont situés dans la municipalité de Central Saanich (Colombie-Britannique) et sont infestés par le nématode doré, et à interdire la vente de pommes de terre infestées par le nématode doré qui y ont été cultivées, ci-après.

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, pursuant to section 4 of the Plant Quarantine Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations providing for the restricting of property located in the municipality of Central Saanich in the Province of British Columbia that is infested with the golden nematode from the production of potatoes and prohibiting the sale of potatoes produced therein that are infested with the golden nematode.

Conformément aux conclusions de la mission d’audit menée au Portugal par l’Office alimentaire et vétérinaire de la Commission du 19 au 28 mars 2012, 85 % seulement des conifères infestés par le nématode du pin ou présentant tout autre signe de mauvaise santé avaient été abattus et détruits au 1er avril 2012, soit 15 % de moins que l’objectif fixé.
