To that end, European academic centres of excellence which have a long-standing tradition of assisting the Union institutions and an established record of education, research and analysis of Union law and policies, such as the College of Europe in Bruges and Natolin and the European University Institute in Florence, would, in consultation with the EEAS, define the training system for EEAS staff.
