In most countries it is currently standing practice to slaughter the entire herd to which a confirmed BSE case belongs or was born in to prevent further propagation of the disease, as is the routine with other infectious animal diseases that are transmitted from animal to animal.

Does it not seem inconsistent to you that we would not go the final step and provide paraphernalia that we all agree, and all experts agree, including the United Nations, would reduce the spread of infectious blood-borne diseases?
