En conséquence, les conflits d’intérêts sont évités entre, d’une part, les fonctions de régulation exercées par l’autorité compétente et, d’autre part, les fonctions de régulation liées au développement économique des ressources naturelles en mer et à l’octroi d’autorisations pour des opérations pétrolières et gazières en mer au sein de l’État membre, et à la collecte et à la gestion des recettes provenant de ces opérations.
Accordingly, conflicts of interest shall be prevented between, on the one hand, the regulatory functions of the competent authority and, on the other hand, the regulatory functions relating to the economic development of the offshore natural resources and licensing of offshore oil and gas operations within the Member State and the collection and management of revenues from those operations.
