Considers that, when environmental policies are being implemented, the visual impact on artistic heritage and the countryside must be taken into account; believes that, in this context, as stipulated in Article 3 of the Directive, attention should be drawn once again to the importance of all public or private projects being accompanied by the corresponding impact assessment, in particular an assessment of the visual impact and impact on the landscape;
