The Ontario Dead Animal Disposal Act deals with the circumstances in which the owner of a ``fallen animal,'' which is defined in the act as a horse, goat, sheep, swine or head of cattle that has been disabled by disease, emaciation or other condition likely to cause death, is required by law to kill it in a humane manner.
