La Commission a décidé, le 4 août 2000, de fournir à la Turquie un vaccin trivalent formulé à partir d'antigènes stockés dans le cadre des réserves communautaires d'antigènes antiaphteux afin d'aider ce pays à lutter contre une souche exotique (ASIA 1) de la fièvre aphteuse apparue chez les ruminants dans la région de Thrace et de protéger ainsi le cheptel communautaire.
The Commission decided on 4 August 2000 to provide a trivalent vaccine formulated from antigen stocks kept at the EU antigen bank to Turkey to help combat an exotic strain (ASIA 1) of foot-and-mouth disease in ruminants in the Thrace region of this country and thereby to protect the Community livestock.
