G. considérant le fossé grandissant entre l'augmentation de la résistance aux antimicrobiens et le développement de nouveaux antimicrobiens; considérant que, depuis les années 1970, seuls trois nouveaux traitements antibiotiques administrés de façon systématique pour les bactéries gram-positives multirésistantes ont été élaborés; considérant que deux tiers des décès liés à la résistance aux antimicrobiens dans l'Union sont imputables à des bactéries gram-négatives et qu'aucun agent antimicrobien ne devrait faire son entrée sur le marché prochainement;
G. whereas there is a growing gap between rising AMR and the development of new antimicrobials; whereas since the 1970s only three new systemically-administered antibiotics for multidrug-resistant Gram-positive bacteria have been developed; whereas two-thirds of antimicrobial resistance-related deaths in the Union are due to Gram-negative bacteria, with no new agents planned to enter the market soon;
