The competent authority may request the submission of additional meters if: - the application relates not only to the three meters referred to in the first paragraph above but also to one or more variants thereof (material of the case, any multiple tariff devices, remote indication and anti-reversing devices etc.) which may be considered as being of the same type, in particular where the arrangement of the terminals is different;
