At that meeting, an examination of the proposal for a Council directive codifying Council Directive 68/193/EEC of 9 April 1968 on the marketing of material for the vegetative propagation of the vine resulted in the Consultative Working Party’s establishing, by common accord, that the proposal constitutes a straightforward codification of existing texts, without any change in their substance.
