Comme nous le savons tous, un grand pas a été franchi dans cette direction il y a moins de deux semaines à l'occasion de la conférence ministérielle de l'OMC, à Doha, où le Canada et 141 autres pays ont convenu de lancer une ronde de négociations très large, qui nous aidera à implanter un commerce agricole international plus équitable et plus axé sur le marché.
Now, as everyone knows, a major step in that direction was achieved less than two weeks ago at the WTO ministerial conference in Doha, where Canada plus 141 other countries agreed to launch a broad-based round of negotiations, one that brings us closer and gives us the opportunity to negotiate in that direction, towards realizing a fair and more market-oriented agricultural trading system.
