1. Lorsque le Conseil arrête une décision établissant qu'un État membre n'a pas pris de mesures à la suite d'une recommandation qu'il a formulée, comme il est prévu à l'article 6, paragraphe 2, deuxième alinéa , du règlement (CE) nº 1466/97, la Commission recommande au Conseil, dans un délai de vingt jours après l'adoption de la recommandation du Conseil, d'imposer la constitution d'un dépôt portant intérêt.
1. If the Council adopts a decision establishing that a Member State failed to take action in response to the Council recommendation referred to in the second subparagraph of Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1466/97, the Commission shall, within 20 days of adoption of the Council recommendation, recommend to the Council to impose the lodging of an interest bearing deposit.
