Par conséquent, les amendements proposent une augmentation du budget, à mon sens justifiée, pour atteindre 77 millions d’euros, augmentation à laquelle nous ne pouvons absolument pas renoncer, car ce qui est en jeu, c’est la protection du paysage, de la nature, de la biodiversité, des cultures traditionnelles, des activités multifonctionnelles et, en définitive, de ce que nous voyons tous quand nous fermons les yeux et que nous pensons aux forêts.
The amendments therefore propose increasing the budget to EUR 77 million, which I believe to be fully justifiable, and which we must not give up on under any circumstances, since at stake is the protection of the landscape, of nature, of biodiversity, of traditional cultures and multifunctional activities and, at the end of the day, of what we see when we close our eyes and think of forests.
