(2) Tous ces alambics, serpentins, tonneaux à fermentation, rectificateurs ou autres appareils propres à la fabrication ou à la rectification d’eau-de-vie, ou toutes parties de ces choses, et la bière, le liquide à fermentation, le moût et l’eau-de-vie trouvés en la possession d’un individu qui ne détient pas une licence ou dans un lieu non muni de licence sont confisqués au profit de Sa Majesté et saisis par tout préposé, et peuvent être détruits là et quand ils sont trouvés, ou être transportés en quelque lieu sûr, à la discrétion du préposé qui opère la saisie.
(2) All stills, worms, fermenting-tuns, rectifying or other apparatus suitable for the manufacture of spirits, or for the rectification of spirits, or parts thereof, and all beer, wash, wort or spirits that are found in the possession of any unlicensed person, or in any unlicensed place, shall be forfeited to the Crown, and shall be seized by any officer, and may either be destroyed when and where found or removed to a place of safe-keeping in the discretion of the seizing officer.
