(4) Pour l’application du paragraphe (3), lorsque le ministre, saisi d’une demande de l’administrateur d’un régime de pension agréé qui est un régime interentreprises (mais non un régime interentreprises déterminé) au cours d’une année civile, consent par écrit à appliquer le présent paragraphe au régime pour l’année, l’administrateur est tenu de déclarer la fraction, visée par le consentement, de chaque crédit de pension pour l’année dans le cadre d’une disposition à prestations déterminées du régime qu’il est raisonnable de considérer comme imputable aux prestations prévues pour une période de services réduits d’un particulier.
(4) For the purpose of subsection (3), where, on application by the administrator of a registered pension plan that is, in a calendar year, a multi-employer plan (other than a specified multi-employer plan), the Minister consents in writing to the application of this subsection in respect of the plan in the year, such portion of each pension credit for the year under a defined benefit provision of the plan as may reasonably be considered to be attributable to benefits provided in respect of a period of reduced services of an individual is, to the extent permitted by the Minister, reportable by the administrator.
