La Commission considère même que ce terrassement de 1005080 m3 est surévalué car, même si les experts indépendants n'ont pu évaluer ce chiffre, ceux qui ont élaboré le rapport de janvier 2001 évoquent l'expérience acquise dans l'exploitation partielle du fond du synclinal à la partie nord (unique du fait que l'on est parvenu au fond) la teneur en cendres de cette veine (celle du mur) oscillant entre 40 % et 60 %.
The Commission also considers that the said movement of 1005080 m3 of excavation residues was overestimated, since although the independent experts were unable to evaluate that figure, the experts who proposed the report of January 2001 cite "the experience obtained by the partial working of the bottom of the syncline in the northern zone (the only one in which the bottom was reached) where the coal ash in that vein (the wall vein) ranges between 40 % and 60 %".
