Further, the Council welcomes the Commission communication on ICT industries' competitiveness and invites the Commission to continue, in consultation with member States and industry, to analyze these issues and to identify what further specific actions towards ICT industry and what mechanisms for monitoring progress in the implementation of the actions may be needed, by whom and in what time scale.
